Sult is a Norwegian/American quartet playing sound-oriented improvised music. Drawing inspiration from contemporary music, electro-acoustic improv and noise, they seek abrupt consciousness and reflective chaos. Intensity bubbles beneath the surface of carefully applied sonic textures, sometimes erupting into flowing physicality and expressivity.

As the core members of the Bay/Oslo Mirror Trio, they have been working together since January 2008. Members of the quartet have performed extensively with their own projects Ettrick, Basshaters, Peninsula Project and Art Directors, and have worked with other groups such as the Flying Luttenbachers and Barn Owl. Dryer and Heule have maintained a trans-American trio with saxophonist Jack Wright since 2008, and have performed live with musicians such as Michel Doneda, C Spencer Yeh, Gino Robair, and Damon Smith. Their trio with Jacob Lindsay released Idea of West on Creative Sources in 2008. The Norwegian half of the quartet has likewise played together extensively in groups with musicians such as Fred Frith, Maja S. K. Ratkje, Okkyung Lee, Ikue Mori, Frode Gjerstad, and Hild Sofie Tafjord.

(the) Handbag Factory  presents a special night to celebrate the opening of Anthony Seth Quintana 's art exhibit. Featuring musical act  Father  plus special guests. DJs: General Qurby,  Noon Court The work to be presented and the resulting restoration of the space itself blurs the line between craftsmanship and art.  Geometric patterns and ratios underly much of the work. Still, an ever-present crudeness resonates through that make them oddly human.  From Anthony: "You become a part of the medium that you paint, sculpt, or stain.  The labor reflects dedication, emotion, and temporal significance. Whatever the output, the hours show in the work. It's very personal to me. I was approached at a unique time to show my work. A time when both the gallery space and myself were ready for our next evolution. I seized the opportunity to combine my latest efforts in a way that transforms the space temporarily and permanently."
